STEP INTO A WORLD WHERE DISABILITIES don’t define limits.
At Dreamtime Disability Services, we’re all about inspiring possibilities and enabling you to get the most out of life. Everyone deserves to have a safe space they feel welcomed and supported, and that’s what we’ve created through our community centre, daily activities and cultural events.
Hi, I’m Owen - founder of Dreamtime Disability Services. I’ve always been passionate about creating community and connecting people, which is where the inspiration for Dreamtime began.
After working in the charity and disability space for over 10 years, I realised there was a need for a support service that celebrated and fostered First Nations culture.
But my love for community started long before this. In 1995 I made my NRL debut for the Newcastle Knights, which was the beginning of an almost 10 year football career. Playing footy allowed me to become involved in community and charity work, opening doors to meet new people from all walks of life. There’s nothing that puts a fire in my belly more than seeing people find a place they can feel safe, respected and capable - and that’s what Dreamtime is all about!

team
our
We have an amazing team of passionate, qualified support workers, whose enthusiasm, knowledge and compassion allows us to create a welcoming environment.
What sets us apart is our focus on providing opportunities for First Nations participants to connect with mob and Country. Many of our team members are First Nations people, allowing us to provide our Indigenous participants with culturally appropriate care.
“ DREAMTIME HAve GIVEN our clients a PLACE tHEY CAN feel SAFE, welcome & supported ”
We often found there was a significant gap for culturally appropriate programs for our Indigenous clients, many of whom required complex care. Dreamtime have been incredible to collaborate with, bridging this gap through their care services and community programs.
